Blue Lobster: A Leafly Strain of the Year Nominee, Grown in Bellingham

When Leafly announced its Strain of the Year nominees, one name stood out to us: Blue Lobster. It’s one of the strains we grow right here at our craft indoor farm in Bellingham, Washington.

Blue Lobster was bred by Cipher Genetics as a cross of Apples and Bananas and Eye Candy, and was popularized by Maine Trees before spreading to craft growers across the country. It’s a balanced hybrid known for blueberry-candy, plum, and apple flavors layered over a light gassiness, with limonene, myrcene, and caryophyllene leading the terpene profile. The effect is mostly calming - euphoric, relaxed, and social without being couch-locking.

Like everything Khush Kush grows, our Blue Lobster is small-batch indoor flower: pesticide-free, heavy-metal-free, and hand-trimmed. We’re a woman-owned, minority-owned family farm, and we’ve been growing craft cannabis in Bellingham since 2016 - including our Dope Cup Best Indica win in 2017.
